Manu temple is dedicated to the saint Manu, which is said to be the creator of mankind after the flood. This temple was built in 1992 is located at the bank of river Beas. Its location, in spite of being in overcrowded area, added the charm to this temple.
Vashisht is a small hamlet near Manali, which is well known for the hot spring which has some medicinal properties. It is said that this spring water can heal the skin diseases. The kund has separate bath for men and women. The temple is also located, which is dedicated to the Vashisht Rishi.
Jagatsukh, in Kullu, is the biggest village. This village is very beautiful and have many well known attractions. Jagatsukh has Lord Shiva temple in Shikhara style and Goddess Sandhya Devi temple in chalet – roofed style.
Solang valley is a beautiful valley in between the Beas kund and Solang village. Solang valley has snow covered peaks and glaciers which gives a perfect location for skiing and other adventure attractions. An annual skiing festival is held here in winter. The Solang valley also has a shrine of lord Shiva at the top of the hill.
Naggar, one more beautiful village in Himalayas, is 12 kms away from Manali. Naggar was the capital of Kullu for a while and castle of Naggar is one of the tourist attractions here. The other attractions in Naggar are Naggar fair and Tripura Sundari temple.
Rohtang pass, also known as the pile of corpses, is located at the altitude of 3978 mtrs. This pass is the highest rage in Himachal Pardesh. This pass is open from May to November and rest of the month it is close because of the snow. This is the range which is covered with snow for the whole year.
